Fallin Announces the Successor of Dr. Leroy Young

Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin has appointed a new member of the Oklahoma Workers Compensation Commission, Jordan Russell. Jordan will hold the position that was formerly held by Dr. LeRoy Young. Russell is allowed to start serving his term immediately and can do so until the term expires in 2019.

A Brief Background on Jordan Russell
Jordan received his degree in law from Oklahoma University. After graduation, Jordan went to work as a practicing attorney in Oklahoma City, where he currently resides. In addition, Jordan has served as the director of policy for Jeff Hickman, an Oklahoma House Speaker. Jordan’s background in law and policy look to make him a worthy successor to Dr. Young in handling workers’ compensation cases.
